As part of a large art installation programme for the new Terminal 5 building at Heathrow, the design trio Troika was commissioned by the curators at Artwise to create a 22 metre long electroluminescent wall extending the conventional idea of a world clock delivering good design by function and fantasy. It is a lights display using high tech and low-tech applications, many of which had never been attempted on this scale before.
